Paul, from teaching to running a gear shop

Founder · Hokkaido head coach

“Skiing tests not only technique, but your courage to face the unknown.”

Paul taught English at a Korean middle school and later worked as a senior study-abroad consultant in Gangnam, Seoul.

After moving into snowsports, he earned CASI Level 2 and NZSIA Level 2. For more than a decade, he has coached skiers in Mandarin, Korean, and English.

He saw too many people lose precious snow time to the wrong equipment, repeated explanations, and uncertain pickup and return arrangements.

So Paul opened a shop in Asahikawa that matches equipment to each stage of progression. First-timers get help with sizing and level; experienced riders can choose gear for powder and varied terrain. The same local team stays with you from booking and fitting to pickup and return.
